Course Content Summary

Farm operations are surrounded by a variety of high-decibel sounds that are often “tuned out” over the years. But the reality is most of these threats can result in long-term hearing loss. For this reason, it is important to take the necessary steps toward proper hearing protection.

This class will cover all the essentials, including agricultural examples of which jobs require which types of hearing protection, proper fit and instruction on how to choose the correct type of protection based on NRR ratings.
